Some of my friends were planning to go on a hike and were thinking of buying a few used dirt bikes. Not sure what the criteria should be when looking for something like this , i decided to look for this kind of stuff online.
Before buying a used dirt bike, a few things you must see carefully are -
1. Fork - Always have a look at the movement of the front fork. See if it moves smoothly and they don’t jerk.
2. Head bearings - Check this as well, see if they are smooth and move nicely.
3. Rear shocks - Push the back of the bike to check suspension and springs. Movement should be smooth, if its not then its porbably more rusted and you should look at something else.
